"Collaboration for Community, Commodity, and Conservation"

Folur Global Platform

The Food Systems, Land Use, and Restoration (FOLUR) initiative aims to transform agricultural practices and land use to​ support sustainability, food security, and the restoration of agricultural lands. This program operates in 27 countries with support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and focuses on a landscape-based approach to accelerate action and strengthen sustainable value chains.

FOLUR Indonesia focuses on sustainable agriculture, land restoration, private sector engagement, gender inclusion, smallholder capacity building, and sustainable value chains. It emphasizes ecosystem health, land-use planning, responsible certification, gender considerations, farmer training, and public-private-community partnerships to promote sustainable and responsible investment and commodity production.
